Chief Information Officer
Eric Whaley is a senior executive with significant experience in overseeing large-scale business and technology transformations. He is an effective change agent with a history of leveraging technologies and building inspired teams.
As Chief Information Officer at Wolseley Canada, Eric leads transformation initiatives, and all aspects of technology, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Prior to joining Wolseley, Eric was the Chief Information Officer at the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC); held senior executive positions at HSBC Canada; was the Chief Technology Officer of the joint venture of Merrill Lynch and HSBC in Canada; and was the Chief Information Officer for the capital markets division of Canada Trust.
From 2013 to 2016, Eric served as an Auxiliary Police Officer in the Halton Region. Currently, he sits on the board for the Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Repository Services (HDIRS).
