Position:                      Showroom Supervisor [1 year Mat leave replacement]

The Showroom Supervisor will be responsible for:

 

§         Day-to-day supervision and management (leading, coaching, mentoring) of the showroom sales team;

§         Implementation of sales programs and achievement of sales targets;

§         Performing analysis, revisions and recommendations to enhance customer service;

§         Maintaining and developing a productive team by hiring, training, and providing professional development

§         Training showroom consultants on products, sales, systems and operations

§         Ensuring customers are assisted as needed

§         Ensuring relationships with suppliers are maintained

§         Addressing and resolving customer complaints on a timely basis

§         Working with outside sales to secure and maintain showroom and builder business

§         Managing the warehouse and inventory; ensuring appropriate purchases of stocking and special order items are done in a timely fashion and at the appropriate levels; ensuring the shipping and receiving functions are conducted according to SOP

§         Maintaining a safe environment for all employees

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated Wolseley leadership competencies (leading, executing, problem solving/decision making, managing others, communicating, influencing, managing self, understanding the total business, relating to the customers, suppliers and vendors)
  • Knowledge of the plumbing or retail sales industry
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
